recycled yarn banner

Here you'll find all sorts of yummy yarns recycled from unwanted jumpers (sweaters). Some of the yarn has been overdyed and/or plied up by yours truly to make a new and exciting yarn for your knitting, crocheting or weaving pleasure.
If you want more info about any of these yarns, please email natiel311atgmaildotcom .

Shetland wool

laceweight apricot skeins

Heathered light apricot shetland style wool, laceweight.  Great for shawls or other fine work.

The swatch shows how well it knits up and holds its shape (3.5mm needles used) even without blocking!   Handwash only.

Four skeins, weight 280g (9.8oz), approximate yardage 1250m (1400y).  Some knots but these should spit-splice out ok.

USD 25.00 for all skeins

Lambswool

Gradient red skeins

Recycled and respun red to mahogany lambswool. Much nicer than it looks in the pics - my camera does not deal with red.  This yarn is would knit up as a heavy worsted but is quite light and fluffy due to the lambswool woollen spun plies. It is a three ply spun so that it forms a gradient from bright cherry red to mahogany.  Great for a nice big scarf or smallish wrap.  Handwash only.

Two skeins, 220g/7.7oz, 440m/480y approximately.  No knots - all yarn breakages have been plied in.

USD 30.00 for the pair

Cotton

lime green recycled cotton   closeup of lime green recycled cotton

Light lime green mercerised cotton.  Sportweight/5ply, maybe a DK.  Great for market bags - it would be hard to lose something made out of yarn this colour!  Closeup is more representative of the yarn's true colour.  Has to be seen to be believed!  Machine washable.

Four skeins, weight, yardage approximately .  One knot in each skein.

USD 15.00 for all skeins

How to buy yarn

For the nonce, whilst I investigate various auto-payment systems, pop an email to natiel311atgmaildotcom.  Use the email adress you use for Paypal.
Tell me which yarn you are interested in and how much you want of it (eg all of the green cotton)

.  I can then give you a quote including postage.
Currently I am only taking Paypal (though Aussies can pay direct to my Oz bank account if they can take the AUD to USD hit!).
