Our trip to bridgewater, south western victoria

Sorry about the resolution, but these pictures really need to be this detailed!
A nice over view of the bizare landscape that makes up bridgewater
Even in this barren landscape, small tough plants can survive!
Up the hill can be seen the results of only 30 years erosion
The first view out to sea.
The Path meanders down lower on the cliff face
Rock Henge.
Hmmm, Apartments?
This is supposed to be a BlowHole, but it didn't seem to be working...
An Alien City set on the hill, perhaps sand-people out of StarWars? :)
A Rock Wallaby!
When the basalt (Black rock) was cooling a large bubble of gas formed this impressive rock pool.
A wave finally makes it over the side of the rock pool.
A nice shot over the top of the freshwater pools. David and I are looking at the small calcite crystals which are formed as the CaCO3 falls out of suspension In the Background is the true coast of victoria: Cape Bridgewater is only linked by sand dunes, and is the remains of an ancient volcano.
Mum and me standing beside the spring which fills the freshwater pools.
In the foregroud are the large fresh water pools, in the background is the southern pacific ocean.
There were some people fishing where this wave hit, and there were bigger ones too...
David and me on the trail leading down to the freshwater pools-cattle were led down this amazing rocky staircase to the large freshwater pools.
Some Petrified trees, although these are really just the hard stone casings formed around tree, they are not true-petrified trees.
Some nice coastal grasses
