During our 1998 trip to portland, we visited the Bridgewater national park and Mount Richmond national park.
Over the 1998-1999 summer I worked in canberra and had numerous trips.
March 1999 David and I set out to conquer Mount Cohranwarrabul, the second highest mountain in the dandenong ranges. (Sounds really great until you discover it is only 600m above sea level :-)
April 3 1999 We went on a random exploratory journey into the upper latrobe river valley. Found a trout farm and 'caught' some trout(You stick the rod in the water and the fish fight over who gets the hook).
July 2-9 The family went to darwin and surrounds for a week of intensive holidaying

August 2000 I went on a fact finding mission with lynne. On the way we went to the Gariwerd National Park. I also took a few pictures on the way home.
Sept 2000 I took a trip up to sydney to look around the morton national park with lynne(who was on her way back from Armidale).
Nov 2000Lynne and I went to look at the otway ranges before they are all woodchipped.
Jan 2001 was a trip up Mt. Buffalo.
July 2001 Trip to uncle paul's.
Nov 2001 We stayed in Dunkeld in the Grampians.
Dec 2002 was another trip up Mt. Buffalo.
Jan 2002 was a trip up Falls creek.
Feb 2002 the whole family wandered over to bright for a week.
May 2002 I took a trip off to Germany, Swisse and Austria to catch up with old friends and do a bit of sightseeing.
Oct 2002 My paper(and Kim's and Peter's too!) got accepted to UIST-2002. I gave a talk on Dynamic Linear Approximations. I also visited Microsoft Research labs to see some work done there by Chuck Jacobs et al. on flexible template layout.
Oct 2003 Lynne and I went on a little cruise of the south-western half of Victoria
