In the future every house will have a computer(or 10) designed to monitor the internal climate, look after the internet connection, provide bulk storage, and perhaps do those house automationy things like dimming the lights and ordering the pizza (;).

Still to do is 240V supply, ethernet, ventilation, storage mounting points. I think I might put another cupboard next to this one. I got the door at a local kitchen place from their returns bin ($4). I happen to have a bag of european hinges (although the screw hole space was different, of course) so they were roughly free.
